Save on phone bills - especially international calling

Its been available for a year now and made it to news. Its called magicJack!

We have had first hand experience using it for international calling and  wanted to share the good news about the savings.

With a little money of $40 first year and $20 for second year and every year on, you can make unlimited calls over the internet. Unbelievable?

magicJack

magicJack is a small device that can be connected a computer’s USB port. And now you can use your computer to make and receive calls or connect a conventional phone to other end of magicJack to make calls over the internet.

This device can be a big money saver if you need to make a lot of international calls. Just have magicJack connected to a computer with internet service anywhere in the world and make call to or from that device to any other regular phone.

The big difference from regular phones or other voip devices like vonage is that your computer has to be turned on to be able to make or receive calls, and of course you need to have a good internet connection too!

Here is an article about magicJack from usnews.com

And the best part is that you have a 30 day trial period to test drive this device. We had pretty good experience so far with majicJack and would like to hear your stories about it.

Check out majicJack’s website here

I have had a Majicjack device (actually two of them) for over a year and am very pleased. However, you are misleading people about international calling. While it’s true that with a Majicjack device you can call to phones connected to the device anywhere in the world, and back to any phone in the U.S. from outside the country…. calls from a Majicjack device to other international numbers require the payment of variable rates depending on the country…. sometimes as low as 2 cents a minute.

thanks Phil for your comments! Seems like we didn’t word our article very clearly about international calling :-)

    Here are clear isntructions:
Have a magicJack installed at the destination location (anywhere in the world) and call from either another magicJack installed at source location ( again, anywhere in the world) or your regular US phone. This way you don’t have to pay for any international calling.
